LEAD 152 - Citizenship and Community Service - This two to three-credit college elective course will cost an additional $55 per credit above current Conference Tuition of $300 

 

LEAD 152:   2 to 3 creditsCITIZENSHIP  is designed to have students better understand the development of the United States system of government, learn the mechanics of how state and local government works in the United States through hands-on exercises and experiences, and develop interpersonal skills that will assist them throughout their personal and professional lives.  The course is based on the premise that the success of any democratic form of government depends on the active support and involvement of all citizens. 

 

To Register on-line:   (No matter whether you are in JROTC or not)

1.  Click on this webpage http://www.jrotccollegecredit.com/step1.php

2.  Click on "INSTRUCTORS/MENTORS/ADULT LEARNERS " select button

3.  Where it says STEP 1, select "JIM RICE"

4.  When STEP 2 appears, follow personal info directions.

5.  At bottom select, in color Green, "FALL 2008, LEAD 152, Citizenship & Community Service"

6.  At very bottom of page, click "GO TO STEP THREE".

7.  The remaining fill in requirements should be self-explanatory, but if not, please call Prof Rice. 

NOTE: 48 hours after successful submission, UCCS will (via an e-mail) issue UCCS Student ID Number, which will be needed to complete the registration process.  It might land in your "SPAM or BULK" mail file, SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR ALL EMAIL IN BOTH PLACES.
